The Bridge Academy of Valdosta is a private education system for students in 2nd - 8th grade.
In addition to tutoring, we provide test-taking strategies, GMAS prep, and organization skills to help students succeed academically.
Our team of certified educators has a combined 15 years of experience in providing the tools necessary for success for all age groups and backgrounds.
We maintain a low student-to-staff ratio to ensure that each student receives personalized attention and support tailored to their individual needs.
Director of Bridge Academy
Kierra Williams, owner of The Bridge Academy of Valdosta, is an accomplished educator with a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Florida State University and a Master’s in K-12 Reading Instruction from Capella University. With over a decade of experience spanning kindergarten, daycare, counseling, dynamic group instruction, and middle school teaching, she possesses the versatility and expertise needed to support students at various stages of their academic journey.
At the core of Kierra’s educational philosophy is her unwavering dedication to youth and passion for English Literature, which she believes has the power to transform lives. As the academy’s owner, she leverages her strong academic background and extensive experience to help students bridge the gap between their current abilities and full potential, providing individualized attention and support while actively mentoring them beyond the classroom to foster both academic excellence and personal growth.
Session Duration, Grace Periods, and Late Pick-Up Policy
Each tutoring session at The Bridge Academy of Valdosta is 45 minutes long, providing ample time for focused learning and personalized attention.
Yes, we offer a 10-minute grace period if you communicate with us about your delayed arrival. However, if no communication is received, the grace period is reduced to 5 minutes. Please note that if you arrive beyond the grace period, your session will be canceled and cannot be rescheduled.
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. The Bridge Academy of Valdosta provides a 15-minute grace period for pick-up after each session. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late, an additional fee will be incurred.
To ensure your child receives the full benefits of their tutoring session and to avoid any additional fees, we recommend planning ahead, allowing extra time for travel, and communicating any potential delays to our staff as soon as possible. If you know in advance that you will be unable to make a session, please let us know so we can reschedule or cancel the session without penalty.
